The Process.

From first conversation to working partnership. Here's how it works and the ways we can shape it to fit your business.

1. Start a conversation. You submit an inquiry telling me a little about your business and where it's hurting.

2. A short intake. I'll send a simple form, around five minutes, so I arrive at our call already understanding your situation, rather than spending the call gathering basics.

3. The call. We talk through what you've shared: the challenges, the bottlenecks, the business blockers, the dependencies, the context, and what you're hoping to change.

4. A tailored outline. I reach out to. you within 5 working days with a plan of how I'd help (scope/budget), what the engagement would look like, and the shape of the engagement: whether that's an ongoing partnership or a defined project.

5. We take on the vision together. If it's a fit, we begin. If it's not, I'll point you to someone better suited.

How Engagement Works.

The right structure depends on your business needs and where it is in its journey. I work in a few ways:

Ongoing partnership.

A senior operating partner embedded in your business on a retainer basis, for founders and practices who need consistent operational leadership.

Defined engagement.

A scoped project with a clear beginning and end, for organisations facing a transformation, a turnaround, or a one-time build.

Outcome-aligned.

For earlier-stage businesses with vision but limited resources, we can align on shared outcomes, so my success is tied to yours.

Whatever the model, the principle is the same: I take ownership, and we take on the vision together.

The Shape of an Engagement.

Most engagements run three to six months. This is enough time to build a foundation that holds. From there, an ongoing partnership is possible: a set number of hours each month, for as long as it's genuinely useful.

Exit Philosophy

But the goal is never to stay forever. I build systems and foundations designed to run without me. When the work is done, I step back, available to advise, to jump in when something needs it, or to connect you with the right people to take you further. You shouldn't need me indefinitely, and the best outcome is a business that thrives on its own.
